TYPO3 Book on Extension Development

No, you didn't miss anything. I didn't write a book on TYPO3 Extension Development so far. But I got a request from a publisher, whether I'd be interested in writing such a book.

We'd definitively need a cool example to work us through the whole development process. Do you have fancy ideas (like my smurf extension for example)? :-)

How many pages/chapters should the book have? Should it be just a "short" introduction or aiming to get the "one-and-only" book on the topic that coves everything?
